Objective
To lead the teams in the formulation and implementation of the general policies and strategies in Innovation Management, Entrepreneurship Development and extensive Research with high intellectual content to facilitate the achievement of the overall goals of the enterprise.
The position will report to the Executive Chairman and based in Lagos but will involve extensive local and international travels.

Key Functions

• Coordinate day by day activities relating to research/innovation/entrepreneurship projects and initiatives of the company.
• Formulate and design strategic plans for the achievement of the company goals and objective.
• Create new and maintain existing synergistic partnership, collaboration and strategic alliances with institutions such as renowned Universities, Financial institutions, Telecommunication companies and Technology Based Organizations etc.

Requirements

• Advanced degrees up to Ph’d in Science, Engineering, Computer Science.
• An MBA and Membership of relevant Professional Bodies will be added advantage.
• Minimum 3 years post Ph’d experience, at least one (1) of which must be at management responsibilities in Private/Public Sector and/or research/academic environment.
• Excellent communication abilities, Interpersonal skills and customer focused orientation.
• Ability to link Innovative research and teaching to emerging technologies and with fresh radical ideas regarding research that link cutting edge technology/science with entrepreneurial business to deliver major societal values

• Proven (or promising) expertise and publication records in areas such as entrepreneurship, technology and innovation management or the creation and management of high-growth business(es). We will value applications from discipline based scholars able to apply theories and method from, for example, strategic management, economics, medical sciences etc.
